Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated individual to join our team as a part time, term time cleaner at Dovers Green Infant School. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for students, staff and visitors in our COIN Unit.
Role details
This is a part time position working 5 hours per week (one hour per day Monday to Friday) across 38 weeks per annum (term time only). Exact hours are open to discussion. This is a fixed term position until 19 July 2026.
Rate of Pay: £12.42 per hour. Pro rata salary for 5 hours per week, across 38 weeks per annum is £2,715 (£23,322 FTE).
Responsibilities
* Clean COIN unit classrooms, hallways and other areas within the unit
* Empty bins and dispose of waste
* Sweep, mop and vacuum floors
* Follow Health and Safety guidelines including COSHH regulations
Requirements / Qualifications
* Have previous cleaning experience, preferably in a school or similar environment (desirable but not essential)
* Have the ability to manage time effectively to complete tasks to a high level
* Are able to work independently and as part of a team
* A positive can-do attitude
