Our client,, is seeking a Policy Manager on a contract basis to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Developing and implementing planning policies that support sustainable initiatives
2. Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure alignment with regional and national planning frameworks
3. Conducting policy reviews and providing recommendations for improvements
4. Facilitating consultations and workshops with community and industry stakeholders
5. Preparing detailed reports and presentations for policy proposals
6. Advising on planning applications and compliance with policy standards
7. Monitoring and evaluating the impact of planning policies
8. Staying updated with legislative changes and best practices in town planning
Job Requirements:
9. Experience in town planning and planning policy
10. Strong knowledge of regional and national planning frameworks
11. Proficiency in conducting policy reviews and providing strategic recommendations
12. Excellent report writing and presentation skills
13. Ability to manage stakeholder consultations and workshops effectively
14. Understanding of the legislative context and best practices in the field
15. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
16. Relevant degree in town planning, urban planning, or a related discipline
