After justsecuring another round of funding this young biotech is looking foran experienced Business Development Manager to join their team inCambridge. The company offer software solutions to address big datachallenges in hospitals Biotechs and ResearchInstitutes.
As a Business Development AccountManager you will be a key member of the Commercial sales teamresponsible for driving revenue growth through strategic businessdevelopment initiatives. Your role will be crucial to expand thecompanys market presence establish new relationships nurtureexisting relationships and promote their technologysolutions.
Ideally you willhave
BSc in business or life sciences or arelated field.
Proven track record of success inBD and sales within the genomics or life sciences industry (ideallyselling to hospitals research institutes andbiotechs)
Ability to build and maintain strongrelationships with clients
Selfmotivated and ableto work independently
Highly proficient in usingCRM software and other sales tools
Excellentcommunication and presentation skills with the ability toarticulate complex scientific concepts to diverseaudiences
Strong analytical and problemsolvingskills coupled with a resultsorientedmindset
Familiarity with genomics technologiesnextgeneration sequencing and Bioinformatics.
Tosucceed in this role you should be a collaborative pioneer with apassion for Bioinformatics services with an understanding ofBioinformatics and Genomics technologies. A degree in science ispreferred and your existing network of UK based decisionmakers willbe a valuable asset to thiscompany.
