MEP Project Planner
Create and maintain sprinkler projects programs, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, flagging potential risks to programme delivery.
Location:The role will be based on site inBridgwater (Somerset) and our Head Office in Birmingham. There will be a requirement for regular travel between site and the office. Ideal location for candidate to be based would be either Birmingham, Bristol or Bridgwater (surrounding areas).
Note:This is a permanent salaried role. We are not considering contractors/freelancers for this position.
What you will be doing
1. Develop and maintain detailed project programmes using programming software (e.g. Microsoft Project)
2. Coordinate with design team, project engineers, sub contractors, and other stakeholders to gain project buy in and agree regular touchpoints
3. Analise designs and specifications to determine resource requirements
4. Forecast labour, material, and equipment needs throughout project lifecycle
5. Identify potential program conflicts and develop contingency plans
6. Monitor construction progress against the plan and adjust programme as needed
7. Prepare regular progress reports for project management and clients
8. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards
