Employment Consultant - Preston
About the Role
Based at our Preston and Heidelberg West sites, the Employment Consultant will work with participants in the Workforce Australia program to help them overcome barriers to employment and successfully transition into the workforce. The role involves managing a high-volume caseload, engaging with job seekers, identifying barriers, and providing tools and confidence to enter the workforce. Ability to travel between sites is essential.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage a high-volume caseload of job seekers.
2. Engage with 'work ready' job seekers to secure employment outcomes, including reverse marketing to employers.
3. Identify and address barriers preventing job readiness.
4. Provide participants with tools and confidence to enter the workforce.
5. Apply problem-solving skills and resilience to maximize employment outcomes.
About You
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Self-starter who thrives on achieving results and problem-solving.
* Ability to adapt to challenging situations and a changing environment.
* Experience in achieving and exceeding KPIs and targets.
* Proficiency in MS Office.
