About the role
We’re looking for a confident, people‑first leader to run one of our education centres. You’ll take full ownership of service delivery, new member acquisition, team culture and your centre’s growth. You’ll build a high‑performing environment where children thrive, families trust us, and your team loves coming to work.
Key responsibilities
* Use KPIs and performance data to continuously improve results.
* Own overall centre profitability including revenue management, optimise staff efficiency, and drive membership growth.
* Lead, coach, and develop a supervisor and team of tutors.
* Create a positive, high‑performance team culture with strong engagement and accountability.
* Safeguard every child in your care and ensure full Ofsted and company compliance.
* Drive membership growth through community engagement, local partnerships, and marketing events.
* Deliver excellent family and member experiences from first enquiry through to long‑term progress.
* Manage day‑to‑day operations to ensure the centre runs smoothly and efficiently.
A day in the life
* Role‑model excellent tutoring, coach your team, and support members to achieve real maths and English progress, unlocking a love of learning.
* Monitor and celebrate member progress, hold meaningful conversations with families about achievements and next steps.
* Build your centre’s reputation through local brand presence, community engagement, and sales activation.
* Host trial sessions, manage enquiries and new‑member experience, making sure every family feels welcome and supported.

Location
You will be based at our Explore Learning North Cheam centre full‑time.
Starting salary
£31,250 – £33,750 PA, depending on experience. Those working at centres in the London area receive an additional uplift of £1,000–£3,500 due to London weighting.
Contract
Full‑time, permanent contract.
Working hours
A typical week*:
Tues‑Friday 11am–8pm, 9am–6pm, Saturday 9am–5pm. Working hours may vary from centre to centre.
