What is on offer as a Disability Assessor?- Excellent starting salary at £40,000pa- Salary increment at 6 months (£41,000pa)- Salary increment at 12 months (£42,000pa)- Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm working hours- Full time and part time available (3, 4 or 5 days per week available)-Eastbournebased when working on-site- 25 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays + pension- Hybrid/home working available- NMC or HCPC fees paid for and CPD revalidation support provided
What does the Disability Assessor role involve?The Functional Assessor role will involve you carrying out 3 to 4 client assessments per day. A typical day will see you carry out telephone, video or face-to-face assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life. Youll listen to their experiences, ask questions and use your insights to produce a factual report to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine their eligibility for benefits. That's the good news; the DWP make the final decision, you don't. Your role is to gather information and produce the report.

What we look for;An NMC registered nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD) or HCPC qualified Physiotherapist, Paramedic or Occupational Therapist with 1 years or more broad post-registration experienceSomeone whos proactive and keen to learnExcellent oral and written communication skillsCompetent IT and computer skillsComfortable working with a diverse range of conditions, including mental health
