Roads Infrastructure Design Graduate
We are looking for graduates for our Roads team, who have an adaptable approach and an appetite to learn in a leading Engineering and Professional Advisory services consultancy. Roads Infrastructure Design Locations
Truro, Exeter, Liverpool, Warrington, Basingstoke, Guildford, Newcastle, Carlisle, Glasgow, or Edinburgh.
As a Graduate Engineer in the Roads team, you will help deliver National and Regional Infrastructure Frameworks to major projects and local improvements, including a variety of active travel, walking and cycling schemes. You will work in collaboration with clients on both local and national levels, covering all stages of infrastructure delivery for public and private sectors. A solid pipeline of rewarding work offers excellent opportunities for professional development, including projects of national strategic importance.
Projects
Our teams work on some of the most prestigious projects in the UK. You will be helping to deliver projects such as:
* HS2
* Sizewell C
* Smart Motorways
* Dublin MetroLink
* NM20 Cork to Limerick
* A5 Western Transport Corridor
Day‑to‑Day Activities
Typical activities may include:
* Designing and drafting transport solutions
* Attending site visits and inspections
* Data analysis and reporting
* Project coordination
* Stakeholder communication
* Assisting senior engineers
Graduate Development Programme
Our two‑year Graduate Development Programme supports personal and professional development through blended learning, core business and professional skills training, career workshops, networking, mentoring for professional registration, and on‑the‑job experience. We support your journey toward chartered status with bodies such as the ICE, ensuring full support through enrolment in a professional institution’s training agreement.
Requirements
* You have graduated with at least a 2:1 in a master’s or bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject.
* You will start work in September 2026.
* You have a passion for engineering and enthusiasm for creativity and problem‑solving.
* You are able to inspire others with new ideas.
