About this opportunity:
We are currently looking for a motivated and hard working applicant, to join and assist leading the meat department.
Reporting directly to the Meat Manager, this successful applicant will be responsible for assisting the management of a small team, creating rosters, generating orders, completing stock takes + much more!
Working as a part of an enthusiastic team, in a highly competitive supermarket environment, applicants will be expected to demonstrate:
8. Possess an Australian trade qualification in Butchery (essential)
9. Ability to lead and manage a team
10. Ability to order and control costs
11. An understanding of gross profit calculations
12. Passion and enthusiasm, with a very "hands on" approach
13. Unparalleled commitment to customer service
14. Excellent communication skills
15. Ability to liaise with both team members and management
16. A flair for merchandising
17. Strong leadership and delegation skills
