About this role

This job is with AEG EUROPE, an inclusive employer and a member of myGwork – the largest global platform for the LGBTQ+ business community. Please do not contact the recruiter directly. Ready to take the next step in your Production career at one of London's most iconic venues? Want to join an employer recognised in The Sunday Times Best Places to Work? If you're ready to level up your Production career, this is your chance to do it on an iconic platform. At The O2, every day brings new challenges, huge moments and the kind of experiences that shape careers for life. This role puts you at the heart of some of the biggest live events in the world. You'll learn fast, grow your technical and management skills, and work alongside some of the best Production pros in the industry – all while helping deliver shows millions care about.

What's In It For You

* Grow your production career at speed – you'll gain hands‑on experience with world‑class shows, complex builds and diverse event formats, giving you exposure that’s hard to find anywhere else.
* Be part of the moments people never forget – your work directly impacts the live experience for thousands of fans every night. You'll help turn creative visions into real, unforgettable events.
* Develop management experience – as Deputy Production Manager, you'll have the chance to lead parts of the production operation, act as Duty Manager and work closely with senior teams – perfect if you're ready for that next step.
* A supportive team that wants you to thrive – you'll work with talented, collaborative people who’ll help you learn, stretch and grow, all within a company named in The Sunday Times Best Places to Work.
* Every day is different – from major music artists to special events, you'll experience a range of productions that will sharpen your technical skills and keep you inspired.
* Love the buzz of showtime? This role is made for people who enjoy the energy of live events – late nights, big builds, exciting moments and the satisfaction of seeing the arena come to life.

What We're Looking For

* Strong understanding of rigging plots and technical show requirements.
* Experience in production or technical roles within live events, venues, theatres or festivals.
* Hands‑on experience working with rigging and staging.
* Confident coordination of contractors and production teams to deliver event builds on time.
* The flexibility to work varied hours – including evenings, late nights and weekends – to support major events.

Why Join Us

At AEG, we’re passionate about creating moments that matter – for our guests, our partners and our people. When you join the Production team at The O2, you’ll be part of a supportive, energised and talented group with plenty of room to grow and develop your skills.

Where

You’ll be based at The O2, Peninsula Square, London SE10 0DX. You need to be able to work 5 days out of 7 on a rota, which includes working late nights for load‑outs/ins and weekends. We will give you a thorough induction on how we work at AEG. Our induction and onboarding programme is a great way to meet other new starters and to learn about our culture and values. We will give you training in our systems, policies and procedures so you’ll be set up for success. From the moment new employees join us, they’re welcomed with open arms and a plethora of exciting perks. Not only can they choose tickets to shows and to climb The O2, but we also ensure our employees are continuously engaged and rewarded throughout their journey with us.

Our Commitment to Inclusion

We are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce. We believe in equality of opportunity for all and our approach to recruitment and selection is fair, open and based purely on merit. Applications from individuals are encouraged regardless of age, disability, sex, gender reassignment, sexual orientation, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief and marriage and civil partnerships. If you require reasonable adjustments in any recruitment process with us, please make us aware. We know that diverse teams make the strongest teams. That’s why we actively encourage people from all backgrounds, experiences and perspectives to apply.

We'd Love to Hear From You

If this role excites you but you're wondering whether you meet every single requirement – don't hold back. If you've got most of what we're looking for and you're passionate about what we do, we’d love to hear from you. You might be exactly who we need, in this role or another.

Our Vision for Inclusive Teams

Because at AEG Europe, we believe that the best ideas come from the most inclusive teams – and we’re building a workplace where everyone can thrive.
