Maintenance Team Member – Kabannas Liverpool (Full-Time)

What you’ll be doing:
* Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance to keep our guest rooms, social spaces, bar, and back-of-house areas in great condition
* Responding to repair requests — from leaking taps to lighting faults, loose handles to light decoration — you’ll be ready to jump in and fix it
* Completing health, safety, and compliance checks (fire alarms, legionella, emergency lighting, etc.) and keeping records up to date
* Helping manage contractors when specialist work is needed
* Pitching in across departments when needed — from helping prep a room quickly to supporting an event setup — you’re part of the wider team
* Creating a safe, welcoming, and memorable environment for both guests and team
What you’ll need:
* Experience in general maintenance — ideally covering plumbing, basic electrics, painting, joinery or similar
* A practical, reliable and proactive approach — someone who spots issues before they become problems
* Good time management and the ability to work independently
* Confidence using checklists and logging systems (we’ll show you the ropes)
* A solid understanding of health and safety (training provided if needed)

Proven experience in general maintenance and repairs, such as basic decorating, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills.
Experience with hotel, hostel or aparthotel operations would be a distinct advantage.
Familiarity with operating and maintaining various types of equipment and tools.
Strong problem-solving and prioritisation skills and the ability to work in a busy environment with a high guest focus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and guests.
