We are a small, family-run window and door installation company, looking for a candidate who is proud to provide a friendly, reliable, and professional service to our customers. As trusted installers in the double glazing industry, we pride ourselves on a non-pushy, customer-first approach. Although this role has elements of a sales role, our ethos is to provide support to our customers without the traditional sales tactics.
We are seeking a motivated and organised team member to help our small, family ran business run smoothly. This is a varied role, combining sales support, customer service, and administrative duties. The ideal candidate is approachable, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple tasks while delivering outstanding care and support to our customers.
Due to our growth, this is a relatively new role that will enable the right candidate to mould it into their own.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday
Responsibilities
* Provide friendly, non-pushy sales support to new and existing customers.
* Provide exceptional customer service by answering queries and offering product recommendations.
* Prepare and send customer quotes in a timely manner.
* Raise invoices, process payments, and update records accurately.
* Assist in managing the installation diary and coordinating the fitting teams' schedules.
* Handle incoming phone/emails professionally.
* Support stock checking/deliveries and liaise with suppliers where necessary.
* Contribute to running and updating the company's social media pages.
* Ensure smooth day-to-day operations, supporting the wider team as needed.
* Keeping the showroom customer ready
* Administrative duties.
Requirements
* Proficiency in English is essential
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
* Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing stock levels.
* Excellent organisational skills to maintain showroom presentation and manage time efficiently.
* Previous experience in retail or sales is an advantage but not mandatory; a willingness to learn is essential but full training will be provided.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a small team while also being self-motivated when required.
