Responsibilities
Operating across Lloyds Banking Group, the role involves setting and delivering the GI trading strategy across Bancassurance, Corporate Partners and Aggregator channels, balancing commercial growth, customer outcomes and regulatory expectations.
Key Accountabilities
Bancassurance Trading
Own end‑to‑end GI Bancassurance sales performance, including volumes, income, conversion, and profitability.
Define and deliver the Bancassurance trading strategy, aligned to bank distribution priorities and customer propositions.
Maximise conversion of bank‑generated leads through digital, app, branch, telephony, and assisted sales journeys.
Embed GI propositions into core bank customer journeys, using customer insight and behavioural data.
Act as the senior GI interface to Consumer Relationships leadership, positioning GI as a core driver of customer value.
Channel Strategy
Own the GI trading strategy across Bancassurance, Corporate Partners, and Aggregators.
Maintain GI market share, whilst setting clear channel roles and priorities, protecting and strengthening bank‑led opportunities.
Provide executive‑level insight on trading performance, market dynamics, and risks.
Digital, Marketing & Insight
Lead digital sales optimisation, particularly within bank‑owned channels.
Partner with Marketing to optimise campaign effectiveness and return on investment.
Use advanced data and analytics to find opportunities, diagnose performance, and drive action.
Leadership & Governance
Operate as a senior leader, engaging with and influencing outcomes across Consumer Relationships and Lending, GI Platform and IP&I Support Teams
Provide exceptional leadership to the team, mentoring, coaching and developing colleagues to deliver high performance.
Lead large‑scale change and transformation to improve sales effectiveness and customer experience.
Ensure trading activity delivers strong customer outcomes, aligned to Consumer Duty and regulatory expectations.
Qualifications
10 + years Deep Bancassurance expertise with a proven track record of converting bank‑generated demand.
Strong understanding of bank distribution models and customer journeys.
Proven digital sales and marketing capability.
Highly effective senior influencer, change leader and managing teams to deliver high performance.
Strong analytical and commercial judgement.
Experience leading senior teams in a regulated financial services environment.
