Job Title: Accounts Assistant
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accounts Assistant to support internal teams and external clients, ensuring efficient day-to-day financial operations. You'll play a key role within the client accounts team, maintaining strong communication with block managers and ensuring financial accuracy across the board.
Responsibilities:
1. Processing bank reconciliations
2. Managing both sales and purchase ledgers
3. Posting client receipts and processing supplier payments
4. Handling daily banking transactions
5. Producing financial reports and assisting with year-end accounting
6. Communicating with property managers and responding to client queries
7. Supporting the year-end process where required
8. Maintaining income levels across the property portfolio
9. Enhancing the client experience and ensuring high standards of service
Requirements:
* Knowledge of Qube software (preferred but not essential)
* Understanding of residential property management (desirable)
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Patience and professionalism when dealing with clients
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
* Proactive attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile
Additional Details:
* Location: Portsmouth
* Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm (1-hour lunch)
* Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
* Holiday: 25 days annual leave
