About the Role
A friendly law firm based in West Berkshire seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join the Conveyancing Team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a professional yet supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to solicitors and fee earners within the conveyancing department.
* Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and reports related to property transactions.
* Manage diaries, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings.
* Handle incoming calls and emails, ensuring excellent client care.
* Maintain and update case files and client records accurately.
* Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other third parties.
* Assist with billing, invoicing, and general office administration.
Skills & Experience Required
1. Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within conveyancing.
2. Strong knowledge of property transaction processes and legal terminology.
3. Excellent typing and IT skills (Microsoft Office proficiency essential).
