Driver Hire Newcastle & Sunderland are delighted to be recruiting a Warehouse/Yard Operative with FLT (C/B) on a temp to perm for their client based in Gateshead.
This is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to be a vital part of a nationally recognised organisation, that has a track record of investing in their staffs training needs. Future forklift training renewals will be funded by the company, so you can be sure to have to have their full support when it comes to any personal development.
Your role will be vital to the daily operation of the business. The successful candidate can expect a typical working day to consist of storing stock into the correct locations in a safe manner, as well as assisting with the picking of orders and loading them onto the vehicles in preparation the deliveries going out the following morning.
The successful candidate can expect an excellent employment package that includes 25 days annual leave + 8 days for Bank Holidays.
The role is a back shift position which consists of a shift pattern of Monday to Friday 0700.
Role Requirements
1. Warehouse/yard experience would be desirable
2. In date forklift licence with counterbalance and/reach entitlement is essential.
