Academics Ltd is looking for a talented Design Technology Teacher to join a secondary school in Swindon for a September start. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with students, nurturing their creativity and technical skills while fostering a love for design. As a Design Technology Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons to students of all abilities, helping them develop both practical skills and a deeper understanding of design concepts.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver high-quality Design Technology lessons that inspire and engage students.
2. Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity and builds confidence.
3. Design and implement dynamic lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
4. Actively contribute to the development of the Design Technology department and the wider school community.
Who We're Looking For:
1. A fully qualified Design Technology Teacher (QTS or equivalent) with experience in teaching KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience is a plus).
2. Strong knowledge of Design Technology concepts, including both practical and theoretical aspects.
3. Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create an engaging learning atmosphere.
4. A passion for motivating and inspiring students to unlock their creative potential and develop their technical skills.
