We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Children’s Nurse to work within Tayside Children’s Hospital.
We are looking for an organised individual. The role of the Nurse Educator is to promote professional development. As Nurse Educator you will be expected to assist the nursing team to develop and maintain their competencies, recognise gaps in education and service, organise and source courses and encourage staff participation.
The Paediatric Nurse Educator will be expected to facilitate and deliver mandatory training
This post is ideal for a Paediatric Nurse with an interest in education of healthcare professionals.
In-house training and orientation will be given and opportunities for development are available.
We invite UK NMC registered RSCN / Registered Nurse (Child) applicants with extensive experience in child care settings and education to apply. You must be able to demonstrate excellent team working skills with ability to work using own initiative and be confidant, flexible approach to work with excellent time management and prioritisation skills.

Hours of work are: 22.5 hours per week over 3 days, Monday to Friday
Salary Band: 6 (£41,608 - £50,702) pro-rated
