About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Mobile Cleaning Operative to join our team on a part-time basis, working weekends. This role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness across various locations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and delivering excellent customer service.
As a Mobile Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for performing routine and non-routine cleaning duties in public toilets and changing rooms. You will use cleaning equipment, chemicals, and products safely and effectively, adhering to health and safety guidelines to ensure the safety of yourself, colleagues, and the public. Effective communication with the Management Team is essential to report any issues or concerns, and you will be required to complete necessary paperwork, including timesheets and vehicle defect logs. Flexibility to undertake additional duties or hours as required is also important.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of health and safety requirements and previous cleaning experience, particularly with machinery for carpet and hard floor cleaning. Attention to detail is critical for maintaining high cleanliness standards, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team is essential. Strong verbal and written communication skills, dependability with good timekeeping and attendance, and a high standard of customer service are also required. A full driving licence is necessary for the role.
This position offers 14.5 hours per week, with 7.5 hours on Saturday and 7 hours on Sunday. The role is graded at Grade 1, with a salary of £22,127.81 per annum, pro-rata for part-time. This role also includes a salary supplement up to the living wage foundation rate.
