Job Description:
The Intermediary team is a broker channel with multiple partners sending introduced deals into our Own Book. Partners are based across the UK and offer products ranging from loans to assets.
The role involves handling inbound enquiries, building relationships, and assisting in processing introduced business from proposal to payout efficiently.
Description of Role & Key Responsibilities
* Communicate effectively with partners regarding deal transactions.
* Handle inbound enquiries via dedicated broker/partner support channels.
* Set up and update internal systems for partners/brokers.
* Review broker performance and provide feedback.
* Support preferred partners and develop new and existing relationships with the Head of Sales.
* Issue partner trading agreements, approvals, and system registrations.
* Manage proposals, including obtaining necessary credit information from partners or end-users.
* Assist partners with raising and fulfilling finance agreements and related documentation.
* Work with the Head of Sales to proactively chase pipeline business to meet commercial objectives.
* Maintain accurate reports and system records for partner reviews.
* Support introducers to increase volumes.
* Address objections or complaints from brokers or end-users to relevant sales staff or management.
* Collaborate with credit teams to ensure efficient processing and acceptable acceptance rates, including proposal pre-vetting and filing appeals.
* Perform other duties as assigned by line managers.
Core Skills & Knowledge
* Product Knowledge: Understanding of commercial loans, asset finance products, and the broker model.
* Technical Knowledge: AML/KYC, finance agreements, computer applications, credit, and documentation processes.
* Relationship Management: Strong relationship-building skills, effective communication via phone and email, ability to work independently and in teams.
* Analytical Skills: Logical reasoning, high accuracy, organizational and time management skills.
* WO Specific Knowledge: Familiarity with White Oak UK's transaction procedures, processes, and compliance protocols.
