Academics is currently recruiting dedicated ALN Teaching Assistants to work within Specialist Resource Base classrooms in Primary Schools across Caerphilly.
With increasing demand from our partner schools, we are looking for experienced support staff who can provide high-quality support to pupils with a range of additional learning needs. These rewarding roles offer the opportunity to positively impact children's learning, confidence, and development in supportive and inclusive school settings.
What's available for an ALN Teaching Assistant?
We have a range of opportunities starting after May Half Term (from June 1st), including:
Long-term placements running until the end of the academic year

What we're looking for:
Experience supporting pupils with ALN
Previous experience working within an SRB setting is highly desirable
A calm, patient, and proactive approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential
Essential requirements:
Enhanced DBS certificate
Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
