An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 qualified ENP or Senior staff nurse to join the nursing team on Islay working within our A&E Department and also the 6 bedded inpatient ward.
The post holder will work across traditional boundaries to provide a seamless, integrated service to patients and their families.
The role will involve the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care independently and in conjunction with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure high quality, evidence based holistic care. The post holder will need to be innovative and flexible, underpinned by a real desire to provide the highest standards of patient care.
An experienced Band 5 staff nurse willing to complete an ENP course would be eligible to apply. On completion of the course they will be appointed to a Band 6 post and will undertake the full role and remit of the Band 6 job description.
This is a part-time permanent post of 34.10 hours per week, worked in accordance with service requirements.
