Machine Operative – NightsLocation: Ascott-under-WychwoodIndustry: Food Manufacturing / MillingSalary: £29,210 rising to £31,547 after probation (£14.04 plus £1.69 holiday – during probation)Shift: Nights (Sunday–Thursday or Monday–Friday, 22:00–06:30)(Initial training on days required)We're looking for Machine Operatives to join a fast-paced food manufacturing environment, supporting packing and production operations within a busy milling site.This is a hands-on, physically demanding role where you'll be responsible for running machinery, maintaining product quality, and keeping production moving efficiently.Key Responsibilities:Operate and monitor packing machinery and control panelsPack and prepare products for distributionCarry out quality checks and ensure product standards are metMove materials across site, including manual handlingTroubleshoot minor faults and maintain smooth productionOperate FLTRequirements:Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (preferred)Comfortable with physical work and manual handling (up to 25kg)Able to work on your feet for full shiftsStrong attention to detail and quality standardsProactive mindset with good problem-solving abilityAble to work nights and independently when requiredGood understanding of health & safety practicesFLT experience or willingness to trainBenefits:Competitive salary with progression after probationFull training provided, including potential FLT trainingOpportunity to develop within a growing businessStable, long-term work in a busy production environmentI am looking to speak to machine operatives who are looking for a rewarding and highly challenging position.
