Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant – Flexible Agency Work
Location: Preston & Blackpool
Salary: £85–£100 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Flexible / Supply / Agency Basis

Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Do you want the freedom to choose when and where you work, while making a real difference in the classroom?
We’re currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable SEN Teaching Assistants to work on a flexible, agency basis across a variety of primary and secondary schools in the Preston and Blackpool areas.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 or small group support for pupils with a range of SEN, including autism, ADHD, SEMH, and speech & language needs.
* Assist with implementing EHCPs and tailored learning plans.
* Encourage pupil engagement and independence in learning.
* Work closely with teachers and other support staff to promote a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
What we are looking for:
* Previous experience supporting children with SEN (school or care settings welcome).
* A calm, nurturing, and resilient approach.
* Flexibility and adaptability to work in different schools and settings.
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
* Relevant qualifications (e.g. Teaching Assistant Level 2/3, CACHE, or equivalent) are desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
