Job Overview
Full‑time Waiting List Administrator in an expanding Endoscopy service covering City Campus, Treatment Centre and QMC Campus.
Key Responsibilities
* Book patients onto the correct waiting list within the appropriate time frame.
* Cover the busy front‑facing reception area.
* Welcome patients to the Endoscopy Unit, list them onto the appropriate waiting list and contact them to book appointments within the correct timescale.
* Manage front desk duties and assist with other administrative tasks as required.
Working Hours & Schedule
* Full‑time, 37.5 hours per week across Monday to Sunday.
* Flexible fair‑share rota basis between 7.30 am and 8.00 pm.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Conscientious, enthusiastic team player with excellent organisational and communication skills.
* Sound administrative background and experience.
* Clear understanding of confidentiality issues.
* Well‑motivated, reliable, calm under pressure.
* Ability to manage time, prioritise workload, remain patient‑focused and demonstrate an excellent telephone manner.
* Knowledge of cancer pathway targets (advantage).
