We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £60,000 per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:
Lead, coach and develop operational teams to achieve quality, compliance and performance targets
* Promote a culture of hazard reporting, safe equipment use, and workplace organisation using 6S principles
* Drive Lea, Kaizen, and Six Sigma initiatives to enhance operational performance
* Lead the adoption of workflow automation, dashboards and digital tools
* Support customer review meetings and operational reviews with the General Manager
* Set SMART objectives, conduct regular reviews, and drive succession planning
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Proven experience in a similar operational leadership role, including P&L responsibility
* Successful track record of driving customer satisfaction and maintaining strong client relationships
* Extensive management experience in a diverse eCommerce environment (automation desirable)
* High analytical capability: BI tool knowledge is a distinct advantage
* Strong understanding of QHSE requirements and standards
* Experience leading teams through significant change and improvement programmes
