The role is at the centre of the Wellness Communities strategy & is responsible for bringing together the project team, business functions, commercial suppliers, event suppliers & partners.
The Role
The Purpose of the Role:
- Be the Marketing business partner, our direct link to the creation of marketing programmes & specific creative requests as required per events and plans.
- Ensure programme kit is kept in a usable format & is sufficient to meet the needs of the changing programme environment.
- Work with marketing agencies to fulfil specific short & long-term goals within the program
- Utilising all team members to ensure every colleague in the team is able to achieve their role through support, coaching, training & performance management.
- Accountable for the successful delivery of key business opportunities as directed by the strategy.
- Provide content, context, data & verbatim as required for planned cyclic & adhoc requests & agreed documentation.
- Represent the company in negotiations with event suppliers and agreed partnerships.
- Own the relationship with our Finance function, creating a robust strategy to ensure all metrics & data flows through to the correct channels.
- Manage the Unit4 system & work with the Accounts Payable team to ensure purchase orders are created, sent to correct cost centres & paid on time.
- Provide a robust tracking system to ensure reports reflect the reality of costs versus budgets.
- Ensure the programme has an up to date Profit and Loss ledger, provide reporting and data for planned and adhoc requests.
- Take action to ensure programme costs versus budgets are on track, provide updates as required to articulate this.
- Using existing and newly available tools, create data to articulate the Lifetime value of the customer.
- Use data to reflect on our vision for customer segments, specifically the type of customers we are prioritising.
The Person
Key Requirements:
- Experience working in a cross functional role, liaising with stakeholders across multiple functions at all levels
- A strong business mind set. Ability to identify individual opportunities that improve business performance.
- High standard and consistency of output.
- Has a continuous improvement mindset & has completed minimum Lean Six Sigma white belt, working towards yellow & green belts
- Delivering multiple project events at one time, effectively delegating to direct rapports
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to identify opportunities to challenge and improve but understanding the impact of all stakeholders
- Robust planning skills to ensure strategy and business plan deadlines are met
- Microsoft Office - strong understanding of key MS applications, including Word & Excel
- Ability to negotiate and build rapport with third party suppliers to acquire the best possible deal
