Job Description
PERMANENT FULL-TIME LIVE-IN HOUSEKEEPER JOB | NEWMARKET, SUFFOLK
SALARY: £61,000-£65,000 PER ANNUM GROSS
PHS JOB 3367
A wonderful opportunity has arisen to join a private household in the beautiful Cambridgeshire countryside. The property is a well-appointed six-bedroom, residence set across two floors, with a separate annex provided for the housekeeper's accommodation.
The Principal resides at the property for approximately six months of the year, during which time the role operates at full capacity. During the off-season, the housekeeper continues to reside in the annex with lighter responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced, discreet, and professional housekeeper who takes pride in maintaining impeccable standards. This is a split-shift role, with morning duties followed by a break and then afternoon/evening responsibilities. The housekeeper will work closely with the Principal to ensure his daily routine runs seamlessly.
A Private Chef is employed within the household; however, basic cooking skills and the ability to assist with meal preparation when required would be beneficial. A private, self-contained annex is provided on the property for the housekeeper's sole use. The accommodation is available year-round, including during the off-season when duties are lighter. A vehicle is also provided for work-related errands and shopping.
Only applicants with the right to work in the UK can be considered.
