Olleco is on a mission to help protect the planet, working together with thousands of foodservice businesses to reduce greenhouse gas emissions significantly. We are now looking for a Financial Controller to join our team and help us continue to do things the right way for customers, colleagues, and the planet.
With over 1,000 colleagues across multiple sites nationwide, we deliver excellent performance by supplying premium cooking oils and collecting organic waste, which is then converted into bio-methane, electricity, heat, and organic fertilizer. We pride ourselves on our local, community-based depots that seek to give back to the communities we serve.

As a Financial Controller based at our Uxbridge depot, you will be an essential part of our team, enabling us to continue our mission to serve the planet—a purpose we are passionate about and committed to. You will work as part of a small finance team with links to all other accounting divisions to consolidate management and financial reporting.

A little more about the role:
* Preparation of annual and monthly financial and management accounts.
* Preparation of annual statutory accounts, including supporting information for taxation.
* Weekly management accounts with KPIs and supporting data.
* Balance sheet management, cash flow, and working capital management.
* Managing a small finance team.
* Budgeting and variance analysis against budgets.
* Implementing process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency.

We’re looking for a candidate with a broad range of personal skills. You don’t need to have everything from the start—we will coach, train, and support you. The right interpersonal skills and the ability to understand and advance our business are most important.
We will be looking for:
* GCSE English/Maths or equivalent
* AAT or equivalent
* Final stages of ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualification
* Previous experience as a Financial Controller
* Experience with M3 accounting software or similar (advantageous)
* Excellent IT skills related to accounting
* High attention to detail
