A1 Jobs have an excellent opportuity for a Maintenance Engineer to join our client in the Ayrshire area. Responsibilities * Carry out reactive and proactive maintenance safely on production plant and equipment ensuring production (and site) downtime is kept to a minimum. * Ensure routine maintenance schedules are completed on time every time * Install new equipment where required * Interrogate, fault find and resolve any problems that are shown on the company’s equipment * Active participation in and close out of assigned tasks associated with summer & winter overhauls to ensure all plant equipment is maintained and repaired as required * Active participation and meaningful engagement in continuous improvement activities and meetings * Completion of work permits as required and adherence to health and safety standards * Build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues at all levels to ensure alignment with business goals and objectives Skills Profile * Time-served multi skilled maintenance professional (18th Edition wiring regulations) * Relevant experience in a production environment working shifts * Knowledge of PLC’s, Servo Drives, Robotics and line Automation is desirable * Strong problem solving and analytical skills with ability to prioritize key tasks and meet challenging deadlines * Strong attention to detail and concern for standards with a keen results orientation * Flexible and willingness to work shifts
