Our Respite, Supported Living and Day Services across Fenland (March and Wisbech) are looking for Support Workers to support the services as and when required to cover and support colleagues. This is an important role which also offers you flexibility in your work hours to fit with your own busy lives, the support of a dedicated team and a caring employer.
The hourly rate for a Support Worker is £12.85 with enhancements paid at weekends and Bank Holidays (Saturday £19.27phr, Sunday £22.For more information or to chat about this opportunity please contact Kirsty Wood, Operations Manager 07917 210139.

You will be working alongside individuals with a learning disability, autism, physical disability or an older person, enabling them to have a happy, healthy life supporting their care and social needs. This may include providing interesting and interactive activities, supporting a person's care and communication needs, providing medication and supporting their wellbeing.
You will be part of a dedicated team focusing on positive outcomes and skill development for the individuals we support within a safe and caring environment.
You will be a caring, passionate and motivated person, keen to make a difference and provide exceptional care and support, able to empower individuals and recognise that each person is unique in their needs and choices. You will have a level 2 Certificate in Health and Social Care or similar and have previous experience of working within a care environment.
As a Support Worker you will need to have good verbal and written communication skills in order to be able to liaise with both internal and external contacts effectively, You will have good IT skills for the purpose of case file and risk assessment recording. You will have a sensitive and a professional approach in managing your work and an understanding of equal opportunities, diversity and safeguarding. The role will involve administration of medication, and the provision of personal care.
