Job Description Assistant Management Accountant Overview My client are seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join their established finance team. The Assistant Management Accountant will work directly with the Management Accountant and wider team, supporting the overall strategic aims and objectives of the business. Benefits Salary up to £35,000 - depending on experience Monday - Friday 5 days a week 30 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays) can buy up to 5 days on a salary sacrifice scheme Attendance Awards and Long Service Awards Employee Assistance Programme (Health Shield) Claim cashback on optical, dental and more Cycle to Work Scheme Social Club- Enjoy discounted event tickets Christmas Vouchers My Perks Reward Scheme- Access exclusive deals and discounts Responsibilities Supporting the Group Management Accountant with the month end process Help with the production of accruals and prepayments Preparation of balance sheet reconciliation's with journal entry where necessary Preparation and review of working documents for use within the Management Accounts Providing help with the purchase and sales ledger teams Production of routine and ad-hoc reports as required Cash-flow reporting and forecasting Qualifications Required Knowledge of general IT systems and applications including spreadsheets, word processing and databases Knowledge of general office practices and procedures Experience of maintaining comprehensive records Experience of prioritising workload, time management and dealing with conflicting priorities Desirable Previous experience of general financial administrative practices and procedures Experience with Pegasus Opera 3 (Payroll and Accounts Package) Experience of producing financial documentation using information technology We do our best to make our adverts as specific as possible so that you do not spend your time applying for roles which are not a match.
