We have an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Service Manager / Workshop Supervisor / Senior Bus Mechanic to join our Southall team and take on a leadership role within our expanding engineering department.
This position is ideal for an experienced Bus Mechanic, PSV Technician, or HGV Technician with strong electrical knowledge and preferably IRTEC accreditation, who is ready to step up into management or for an established Service Manager seeking a new challenge.

DUTIES SERVICE MANAGER
* Manage day-to-day workshop operations and workflow
* Lead, coach, and develop a team of Bus Mechanics and HGV Technicians
* Ensure inspections, maintenance, and repairs are completed efficiently and to the highest standard
* Oversee MOT preparation and ensure full compliance with legal requirements
* Utilise electrical expertise to support fault diagnostics and mentor staff
* Collaborate with senior management to maximise fleet performance and availability
* Uphold excellent Health & Safety standards across the workshop
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
* Previous experience as a Service Manager, Workshop Supervisor, or Senior Bus/HGV Mechanic
* Strong electrical knowledge essential
* IRTEC accreditation highly desirable
* Level 3 qualification in HGV/Bus Mechanics (or equivalent) desirable
* Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop staff
* Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
