Operations Manager – Residential Childcare Leadership Across Scotland Flexible location with weekly base in Paisley Help shape and elevate residential care across Scotland with a trusted provider known for quality and compassion. About the Role: This is a senior, strategic role providing leadership and support to Residential Managers across multiple homes. You’ll be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing the quality of care delivered to children and young people with a variety of additional support needs, including social, emotional and behavioural challenges. • Provide operational oversight to multiple residential homes across Scotland • Support and develop Residential Managers to ensure excellence in care • Uphold and exceed Care Inspectorate standards and SSSC code of conduct • Lead improvement plans, ensuring homes are consistently admission-ready • Collaborate closely with the Senior Management Team and Director • Operate peripatetically with remote flexibility and office base in Paisley What Makes This Exciting: • Senior post with real strategic influence • Flexible hybrid working with supportive senior peer group • Backed by a national group with long-term growth plans • Part of the company’s Management Incentive Plan • Access to a high-quality Leadership Academy About You: We’re seeking an experienced leader with a strong track record in residential childcare: • At least 5 years as a Registered Manager in Scotland • Multi-site leadership experience • Homes rated ‘Very Good’ or ‘Excellent’ by the Care Inspectorate • Sound knowledge of regulatory frameworks (Care Inspectorate and SSSC) • Financially astute with budget management experience • Emotionally intelligent leader with trauma-informed values • SVQ Level 4 (or equivalent) in Social Services and Healthcare or Leadership and Management Why Join: Join a values-led, child-focused provider committed to continual improvement, staff development, and excellent outcomes for young people.
