About The Role
We are recruiting for an experienced Finance Manager to join our Convenience Finance team to own and develop the FP&A systems within the team, monitoring the performance of Convenience business unit’s P&L and advising a wide array of stakeholders in the Morrisons group of performance.
Key responsibilities/accountabilities
* Ownership of the single source of truth for Convenience EBITDA
* Preparation of weekly and periodic P&L, comparing performance with prior year and budget
* Consolidating budgets, forecasts and targets to identify trends and variances
* Point of contact for Finance to Finance queries for the Convenience business unit
* Collaborative work with the business partnering teams to ensure forecast submissions are on time and effectively articulated
* Supporting development of reporting suite with the Reporting Centre of Excellence
* Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis to drive insights and improve operational performance.
* Working with Finance Systems team to migrate Budgeting and Forecasting to Anaplan
* Managing and developing direct line report, ensuring clarity of objectives and development plan in place
About You
Personal Requirements
* Proven track record in a similar role
* Ability to influence key decision makers at all levels
* Strong technical capability and ability to data from a variety of sources
* Problem solving mindset
* People management and leadership experience and excellent communication skills
* Hold a relevant finance qualification CIMA/ACCA etc.
* Experience of Anaplan preferred but not essential
