Your Responsibilities as a Nursery Assistant:
* Create and lead engaging, play-based learning activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
* Uphold the highest standards of safety and safeguarding, ensuring the well-being of all children under your care through constant supervision.
* Foster a stimulating and inclusive environment where every child feels valued and can thrive.
* Support children with personal care routines, including mealtimes, toileting, and nappy changes, with dignity and care.
* Maintain a clean, tidy, and hygienic learning environment.
* Build positive relationships with parents and carers, providing regular updates on their child's progress and daily activities.
* Work collaboratively with the nursery team to plan activities and meet the individual needs of each child.
What We're Looking For:
* A genuine passion for working with and caring for young children.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with children, parents, and colleagues.
* A reliable, patient, and proactive team player.
* Previous experience in a nursery or childcare setting (e.g., as a Nursery Assistant, Early Years Practitioner, or similar role).
* Desirable: A relevant qualification such as a Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare or Early Years Education. Note: Unqualified candidates with a strong passion for the sector are strongly encouraged to apply, as training opportunities may be available.
