Class 2 Driver
Burton-on-Trent
Full-time position with the potential to become permanent.
£14.00 or £15.69 per hour.
Our client based in Burton requires a Class 2 (Cat C) driver to join the team on a temp-to-perm contract.
You will be responsible for the timely delivery and offloading of goods to their retail stores around the country, driving a Class 2 Rigid vehicle. This role is Mon-Fri with 1 overnight stay every fortnight.
Start times vary between 02:00 and 06:00 in the morning.
Duties
1. Delivering a variety of retail products to different locations across the UK.
2. Completing 5 to 7 deliveries per shift, depending on the daily schedule.
3. Ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service.
4. Handballing cages off the trailer using the tail lift.
Pay
5. £15.69ph (PAYE Advanced – Inclusive of holidays)
6. £14.00ph (PAYE Accrued – Accrued holiday)
Requirements
7. HGV Class 2 (C) licence with a minimum of 1 years experience
8. Valid CPC card and Digital Tacho card
9. Able to physically fit as handballing of cages will be required
