Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be partnering with a leading manufacturing business based in Leeds as they look to appoint a Supply Chain Manager to join their senior leadership team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and strategic supply chain professional to take ownership of the end-to-end supply chain function within a fast-paced and forward-thinking manufacturing environment.
The Role:
Reporting directly to the Operations Director, the Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for ensuring the efficient, cost-effective, and timely flow of materials through the business — from procurement and planning through to logistics and distribution. You will play a pivotal role in driving continuous improvement and developing a robust supply chain strategy aligned to business growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage all aspects of the supply chain, including procurement, material planning, inventory control, warehousing, and logistics.
* Develop and implement strategies to optimise supply chain performance, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.
* Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and commercial value.
* Oversee S&OP processes, ensuring accurate demand forecasting and capacity planning.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain to improve efficiency and sustainability.
* Provide leadership and development to a small, high-performing team.
* Work cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, and Sales to support business objectives.
About You:
* Proven experience in a senior supply chain or materials management role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
* Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and systems (ERP/MRP).
* Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
* Analytical mindset with a focus on process improvement and strategic planning.
* CIPS qualification or equivalent (desirable).
