Bookkeeper / Office Working Hours: 5 days per week, approximately 2530 hours Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Office Administrator to support our day-to-day financial operations and general office activities. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth administrative processes. Key Responsibilities: Managing accounts using QuickBooks Preparing and reconciling monthly sales and supplier accounts Preparing and submitting VAT returns Processing payroll, including PAYE Managing workplace pensions (NEST) Assisting the company accountant with year-end financial preparation Handling general office administration duties Responding to customer account queries and processing payments Requirements: Proven experience in a similar bookkeeping or office administration role Proficiency in QuickBooks Strong understanding of VAT, payroll (PAYE), and pension administration Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Good communication skills, with the ability to handle customer enquiries professionally
