Responsibilities
The NCA offers a full-time post for a passionate and self-motivated midwife to deliver the Parent Support Expectations of the Family Hubs and the Start for Life Programme. The post holder will provide a universal and targeted offer of education to help make the transition to parenthood as smooth as possible, emphasising sensitive and responsive caregiving. The programme should comprise a broad universal support service, alongside more targeted evidence-based programmes for parents/carers with further needs. The post holder will work as part of a team based within Family Hubs and other locations across Rochdale, Middleton and Heywood, and will also be required to work some clinical hours to maintain clinical skills and knowledge of care pathways. Tasks include developing & delivering both virtual and face-to-face antenatal parent education; leading and coordinating a multi-agency antenatal education offer across the Family Hubs; developing communications to promote the offer; raising awareness across the multiagency workforce; flexibly working out of hours; engaging expectant parents from underserved groups; signposting to online resources and ensuring effective access to one service for families; monitoring and evaluating impact and user satisfaction; and developing referral pathways with a multi-agency group.

Requirements
* Current NMC PIN to practice as a Registered Nurse or Midwife in the UK, or currently enrolled on a course which means they expect to receive full NMC PIN within the next 3 months.
* Note: an NMC PRN PIN is not a full NMC PIN and would not fulfil the essential criteria for this role.
* The NCA can no longer accept applications from International Nurses and Midwives who have not completed all competencies to receive a full NMC PIN in the UK, as OSCE has been paused indefinitely.
