If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a Service Lead to join us, managing our Nottingham Young Person Supported Housing Service based in Nottingham City; providing accommodation and support to 80 young people.
To be considered for this role, you must have the following requirements:
* Extensive knowledge of supported housing services and/or housing management services for a range of service user groups presenting with complex needs.
* Ability to prioritize tasks effectively, support your team, meet service users' needs, and achieve contractual KPIs.
* Adaptability and high organization skills to balance your time, including developing links with supporting agencies through relationship mapping.
* Excellent people skills, including problem solving, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Confidence in quality risk assessment, risk management, and providing holistic support.
We are looking for:
Someone capable of leading and managing a team of Support Workers and Housing Management workers to deliver high-quality, effective supported housing services to young people, meeting their needs, contractual requirements, and financial targets. Reporting to the Area Manager.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Leading and delivering services that comply with the regulatory framework.
* Ensuring staff understand and meet financial standards regarding voids, arrears, and re-lets.
* Managing rota and on-call arrangements.
* Leading by example, upholding Nacro’s values and translating them into daily activities.
* Ensuring safeguarding and risk management are integral to support work, with safe management of alerts and incidents, and acting as the safeguarding lead.
* Meeting service quality standards and ensuring adherence to operational and policy standards.
* Ensuring all support and safety plans for service users are in place.
* Communicating organisational and local messages through regular and effective team meetings.
* Setting clear objectives and performance targets for team members, monitored through the appraisal process.
Car driver required.
DBS check will be necessary for this role.
