An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced registered nurse to join the Older Peoples Services based in Ward 5 at Queen Margaret Hospital.
The service has 22 inpatient beds. We provide ongoing Assessment and Rehabilitation for our Elderly population. As part of the multidisciplinary team the post holder will contribute to the delivery of rehabilitative care to support and manage patients through their rehabilitation journey towards discharge planning.
As part of the team you will contribute to the delivery of high standards of care as to support and manage patients with complex needs. You will work closely with the Senior Charge Nurse to ensure effective management and operation of the ward. This post requires experience in an elderly or medical setting and the relevant knowledge and skills to lead, motivate and develop staff within the service.
This is an opportunity for someone wishing to further develop their knowledge and skills within the Rehabilitation Setting and, as a role model, create a supportive ethos in the provision of a high quality service as set out in Nursing Assurance Framework.
