Job Description Knowledge Analyst Full Time Derby, Raynesway Secondment NGS 6 - 8 Rolls-Royce Submarines Limited (RRSL) is responsible for delivering the Pressurised Water Reactor (PWR) Nuclear Steam Raising Plant (NSRP) and associated systems for the Royal Navy’s fleet of submarines. We work closely with the Ministry of Defence (MoD), the Submarines Delivery Agency and industry partners. We are currently looking for an individual with a background in and/or a passion for Information and Knowledge Management (IKM) to help shape how RRSL and its industry partners collaborate and share information, as well as engaging with digital innovation across the enterprise. This is a secondment opportunity from June 2025 until June 2026. This role sits within Engineering Operations and is based at our Derby offices, currently Jubilee House. Key accountabilities: To support workstream leads to deliver the allocated IKM activities within RRSL working closely with internal stakeholders and our Industry Partners. Working potentially across SNN-A and Dreadnought, produce Integrated Working Agreement (IWA) documents that capture and outline how information flows between partners. This involves requirements gathering and managing, stakeholder management, small scale project management, effective communication, and attention to detail. Continuously improve the IKM team’s internal processes as well as streamlining the engineering processes involved in the exchange of information and digital collaboration. Engage with our Industry Partners and understand their working structure to establish common solutions for IKM delivery. Ensuring the IKM requirements are delivered in accordance with the timescales that the Programme requires. Representing RRSL’s IKM requirements and risks within cross-organisation digital change programmes. Potentially support other IKM workstreams, including engaging with primary stakeholders within Rolls-Royce Submarines, capturing individual and team knowledge and or learning from experience. Qualifications & Skills Experience in Data Management, Knowledge Management or Information Management activities is preferred, but not essential. Experience of project management or engineering practices, where a relevant qualification or working towards would be an advantage. Experience of working in multi-disciplined teams, delivery lead focused. Strong communication and literacy skills with attention to detail. Strong organisational and good presentation skills. Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills. Ability to involve resources and facilitate event workshops and meetings. Networking skills to engage with contacts required to get things done.
