We’re looking for an ambitious and dynamic individual with senior-level Powerplant and CAMO experience to lead and evolve our technical services function. This role requires an aviation specialist who will be responsible for developing and growing our technical team and ensuring we uphold our commitment to delivering a quality service and always going above and beyond for our customers. The successful candidate will have a direct impact on our company’s growth, reputation and influence in the specialist engine management space. Key Responsibilities 1. Technical Leadership Ensure the technical team delivers consistently high standards of work across all customer projects and accounts. Drive continuous improvement in processes, systems, quality and output. Embed clear technical standards and maintain accountability for delivery quality, safety and compliance. Own and manage risk across technical delivery, ensuring issues are escalated early and resolved decisively. 2. Commercial & Client Engagement Support the commercial team to accurately scope and price projects. Ensure technical delivery contributes to client success. Help communicate TGIS’s technical value to our airline and lessor clients, particularly during commercial discussions and project reviews. 3. Team Development & Line Management Lead, coach and mentor the technical team, setting clear goals and supporting career development. Conduct structured monthly 121s and annual reviews, keeping performance aligned with business priorities. Create a positive, high-performance environment where the team feels trusted, supported and challenged to grow. 4. Regulatory & Strategic Responsibility Develop and maintain a strong relationship with the CAA to protect and build our CAMO status. Ensure TGIS continuously meets all CAMO regulatory requirements. Monitor regulatory changes (e.g. CAA, EASA) and ensure the business is prepared and responsive. Identify opportunities to lead the industry in engine-only CAMO services for airlines and lessors. 5. Business & Leadership Contribution Work closely with the Managing Director and Founder to implement the vision and strategy of the business. Hold peers (and be held) accountable for delivering shared goals and high standards. Contribute to board-level decisions with technical, operational and commercial insight. What You Bring to the team Essential Experience Senior-level background in AeroEngine Fleet Management / Asset Management. Meet the requirements to be a CAA nominated CAMO Post Holder. Airline and Lessor or OEM experience. Deep commercial aircraft powerplant technical and commercial knowledge. Specific experience managing Engine Shop Visits, Contract Negotiation and Lease Reviews. Proven ability to lead teams and influence across functions. Comfortable balancing commercial, operational and regulatory demands. Desirable Experience Licensed Engineer or former licensed Engineer.
