Monday Thursday 7:00am 3:45pm, Friday 7:00am 1:00pmJoin our team at Terex Omagh and embark on an exciting opportunity as we seek skilled and dedicated individuals to contribute to our Production team.As an assembly fitter at Terex you will gain the skills and knowledge toput together mechanical parts and components to make sub-assemblies or complete our final build Crushers. Our fitter roles offer on the job training with excellent development and career progression opportunities.What youll do:Follow work instructions and specifications to understand how parts should fit togetherAssemble components such as metal parts, bearings, pipes, or framesUse hand and power tools (spanners, torque wrenches, drills, grinder etc.)Align and adjust parts to ensure correct fit, movement, and tolerancesInstall fasteners like bolts, screws, rivets, and pinsCheck quality and accuracy of your workTest assembled units to make sure they function correctlyIdentify and fix faults or assembly issuesEssential skills and qualities:Ability to read and interpret instructionsGood handeye coordination and attention to detailAbility to work as part of a teamGood communication skillsKnowledge of health and safety proceduresCan do attitudeDesirable skills:Experience of fitting hydraulicsExperience in mechanical fittingWhilst experience of working in a similar environment would be an advantage, we are willing to accept candidates with transferable skills from other industries such as agriculture, construction, warehouse, manufacturing and car mechanics.All applicants must demonstrate through their application form how they meet the criteria for the position applied for.
