The Role
As our SEN Class Teacher, you will teach a small bespoke class of up to 6 pupils, supported by a Teaching Assistant. Your responsibilities will include planning, preparing, and presenting lessons that cater to a diverse range of abilities.
You will be expected to:
* Motivate pupils through enthusiastic and imaginative presentations.
* Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to ensure a high standard of education.
* Monitor and assess pupils' progress, providing regular feedback to pupils, parents, and colleagues.
* Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to promote engagement and learning.
* Create and maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment for all pupils.
* Adhere to all school policies and procedures in line with our values.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent.
* Successful experience in SEN teaching.
* Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to the success of every pupil.
The successful candidate will need to complete an enhanced DBS check, which will be covered by Polaris Community.
