About the Role:
* Teach Design & Technology, with a focus on Product Design, across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential for teaching at Key Stage 5.
* Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons.
* Guide and support students in using a range of tools, equipment, and materials.
* Encourage students to apply their knowledge of design principles.
* Assess student progress, set targets, and provide constructive feedback.
* Contribute to the department's curriculum development.
* Foster a love of Design & Technology in students.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues.
* Participate in professional development opportunities.
Ideal Candidate:
* Holds QTS or equivalent.
* Possesses excellent subject knowledge in Design & Technology.
* Demonstrates a passion for teaching D&T.
* Has strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
* Is confident in building rapport with students and fostering a positive learning environment.
