Job Summary:
A fantastic opportunity to continue your career in e-commerce marketplace management with an award winning, global online retailer. Rarewaves have businesses in the UK, Europe and the US, currently selling over 4 million products on marketplace platforms on every continent.
As Marketplace Manager, you’ll work closely with the Director of Marketplaces to grow sales across a wide range of existing global marketplace platforms, including Abe Books, eBay and Walmart, along with supporting the launch of Rarewaves on new platforms.
You’ll meet regularly with external stakeholders and internal colleagues to leverage opportunities for growth.
You’ll Be:

* A creative thinker with the confidence to express new ideas.
* Proven commercial experience managing marketplace accounts as a seller or experience working for a marketplace platform in a commercial function.
* Strong analytical skills, comfortable working with structured data and reporting.
* A passion for e-commerce and an eye for opportunities that competitors may have missed.
Preferred, but not Essential:
* Interest in one or more of the product categories that Rarewaves sells in.
* French, Spanish, German or Polish language skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Optimise the customer offer on each marketplace, ranging from improving Item Detail Quality to merchandising marketplace shop fronts.
* Work closely with internal and third‑party partners to deliver operational excellence across the business, with a keen focus on how that can benefit marketplace channels.
* Following best practice, review and manage on‑platform advertising campaigns.
* Improve product data quality on an ongoing basis, mapping data from external sources accurately to the Rarewaves product database.
* Deliver concise and timely reporting on Rarewaves own and competitor performance to senior management.
Location: Chiswick, London.
Salary: Dependent on experience (£32k-£39k).
