HGV Class 2 Driver, Paisley, £41,254 p/a increasing to £43,110 p/a
As a HGV Class 2 Driver you will be tasked with:
* Delivering frozen, ambient & chilled foods as well as catering supplies to customers including schools, restaurants, care homes and hospitals
* Carrying out vehicle checks to ensure vehicles maintained at required H&S standards
* Driving HGV Class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
* Manual handling - handballing goods from vehicle to pallet or cages
* Picking goods - picking and packing goods on vehicle at customer locations
* Delivering exceptional customer service
* Communicating with effectively with customers, team members and depot management
* Completion of relevant paperwork and documentation

* A permanent position with a highly competitive salary of £41,254 increasing to £43,110 by September 2025

* 5 day from 7 shift pattern with most days being worked Monday to Friday
* Day shift only - early starts but early finishes too! Start times from 4.30am

What we're looking for:
* A solid work history and a can-do enthusiastic approach to work
* Experience of multi drop delivery for a customer focussed business
* A minimum of 1-year practical driving experience
* A full UK driving licence with C entitlement
* CPC qualification - full and up to date
* Digital tachograph
* A maximum of 6 penalty points
* A degree of physical fitness as manual handling a consistent requirement of the role
