Overview
As a number of our staff are leaving for uni, we are looking to recruit 3 part time team members for The dog inn Pentrich. You will be joining a great team in a charming country pub. The ideal candidate will be someone positive and willing to learn. Previous experience is not essential however you will need to be able to work some mid week evenings and be available most weekends. The location of the pub is in the middle on Pentrich, which is 5 minutes away from Ripley however, there are limited public transport links so please bare that in mind when applying.
Due to the nature of the role, we will only be employing people ages 16+ (left school)
Interviews will be held on Saturday the 6th.
Responsibilities
* Serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, while ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
* Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and providing recommendations as needed.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and restocking supplies.
* Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, demonstrating basic math skills for processing payments.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any customer concerns promptly.
* Adhere to all health and safety regulations, promoting a safe environment for both staff and patrons.
Skills
* A passion for delivering excellent customer service.
* Previous restaurant experience is advantageous, particularly in a bar or similar setting.
* Effective time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently.
* Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.

Pay: £7.55-£12.21 per hour
